Colonial Style Home

Rolled verandahs, bay windows, and detailed gable ends are just some of the characteristics of a colonial home. These features of the Kitching’s new home were facilitated employing Contour products and services.

When designing their new home, the Kitching family envisioned a colonial style house. This is what was delivered through a local housing company’s design and build service, utilising Contour’s long run roofing and fascia & gutter system.

A stand-out accent of this home – the rolled verandah, was brought to fruition using Grey Friars ColorCote© Corrugated longrun Roofing, manufactured and curved by specialist fabricators in the Contour Roofing factory. It was then meticulously installed by Contour’s team of highly experienced contractors. The roof was accented applying Contour 180 Fascia & 125 Quad Gutter system, a traditional, timeless profile, reminiscent of homesteads from times gone by.

This endearing home exhibits the classic, enduring nature of coloured corrugated iron and cements its relevance as a 21st century building material.
